Vocational courses
-
You will need a postgraduate qualification in order to enter some
careers such as teaching. For other professions, such as engineering
and insurance, you can enter the profession directly after
graduation. Accreditation by the professional bodies is however often important and
you can get this by completing specific practical experience, taking further
exams or a combination of both.
- Remember that applications for some courses are made through clearing
houses and in some cases, applications are considered up to one year before
the course begins.
- Funding for such courses may be more frequently through loans, and as
the courses will often be specific to a profession, you need to be certain
of that career direction before committing yourself.
