John was a Fine Art graduate who specialised in producing attractive
one-off vases. Helen was a graduate in Jewellery Design, producing
delicate rings and necklaces. Martin was a History graduate with
experience during vacations and his year out of working in cafés
and restaurants. Lisa had a degree in Business Studies. Together
they decided to open a café with gallery space. They gathered
information about the costs of running Art Café, seeking possible
funding for recent graduates and were able to present a
comprehensive business plan, which allowed them to proceed into the
venture.
