I haven't decided what is the right career for me

Are there any constraints?

• Disability / health issues: do you need adaptations or special consideration?  Check out disability legislation and visit the SKILL web site

• Mobility / location: some employers require employees to move around the country.  This may have an impact on your personal circumstances

• Family / dependents: you may have family needs to take into account such as disrupting the career of your spouse or partner and access to schools

• Poor exam grades: some professions and demand certain exam grades - you may be able to explain the circumstances relating to poor grades if they do not reflect your true ability. Alternatively you might consider further training or postgraduate study 

• Criminal convictions: these can be a bar to some professions or subject to declaration.  They are not inhibiting for all professions.
