Mobility / location: some employers require employees to move around the country. This may have an impact on your personal circumstances
Family / dependents: you may have family needs to take into account such as disrupting the career of your spouse or partner and access to schools
Poor exam grades: some professions and demand certain exam grades - you may be able to explain the circumstances relating to poor grades if they do not reflect your true ability. Alternatively you might consider further training or postgraduate study
Criminal convictions: these can be a bar to some professions or subject to declaration. They are not inhibiting for all professions.
