How can I prepare for an interview?

Check travel arrangements - do you need an overnight
stay? Do you know exactly where the interview is going to take
place and how long it will take to get there? Allow for delays. Being late for an interview is
a bad start. Don't forget to prepare for the weather!

Confirm by telephone that you will attend
the interview - find out names of interviewers, what will happen
on the day (interview, group exercise, aptitude test etc) and check
travel arrangements and payment of travel expenses, ask for further
information if needed

Review your application

Find out more about the occupation, organisation, sector
and any current issues that might be discussed

Think how to handle any potentially difficult areas
such as poor exam grades
