- If it's been a while since you last looked for a job, you might not
have used the Internet as a job search tool. And if this is your first
career job search, you might not be familiar with job related sites
- There's loads of information about careers and jobs on the web. You
need to be choosey about what sites you use and what information to
accept as fact. The Internet is a wonderful tool for identifying and
researching potential employers, tracking down information on unusual
jobs and work in other countries
- You will find information on how to write CV's, applications and
cover letters. You'll find sites to help you assess your skills,
personality and interests, and there are many sites with job vacancy and
employer information. You will find companies who want you to register online or submit your CV via email.
Be careful what personal information you provide, and
as a general rule, only provide your name and email address on any
online registration form.
