Education
- List academic qualifications in reverse chronological order
- Include date
of graduation, academic course of study, results, special honours, awards,
title of projects or thesis if directly relevant to job
- It's not
necessary to list every module or class title. If some are relevant to the
job, they could be listed as "relevant classes"
- If
your degree course is not directly relevant to the area of work, you could
describe it in terms of skills gained such as research, evaluation of
data, computer literacy and written communication
- Secondary school
qualifications should be listed but it is not necessary to use a lot of
detail describing subjects
- When you were applying for your first career job, education information
probably took up a good deal of space on your CV, as you didn't have much
relevant work experience to highlight. Now that you've worked in your
field, employment experience should be highlighted on the CV as
it is likely to be of more interest to a potential employer than your
academic background
